Window display for a hypothetical high-end drum hardware brand, called Halpern's Cymbals.
THE CHALLENGE
A 3'X7' window display concept for a hypothetical brand manufacturing high-end drum cymbals. To project in a single glance, the story of excellent production quality.
THE SOLUTION
The window is designed to say 'the slower you play, the better your technique'. It is a frozen shot from what a slow motion time warp of the product would look like, when in use.

WE BELIEVE
SLOW IS PRO.
The process of playing in slow motion- while being completely mindful, highly engaged and thinking deeply in real-time about what you do.
Slow enough to feel every vibration.
A major differentiator between sheet metal cymbals and casted cymbals is the amount of shock they can absorb. While low quality cymbals tend to break under pressure, rotocasted cymbals absorb the impact, bend like a liquid and regain their original shape.
The displayed cymbal is deformed with sound vibration flowing out of it, as if a frozen shot from a slow motion recording.
MASKING
The tagline 'Take it slow, feel the flow' further reinforces the idea of the visual depicting slow motion.
CONSUMER
The decision to purchase high-end cymbals is made by a well informed user who would immediately consume the story of high quality production.
