Annual festive packaging and print design for Nourish Organics Foods.
THE CHALLENGE
I was tasked with annual festive packaging and print graphics for the brand.

PACK 1

FORM
Maintaining the brand language, I designed a pack with a rectangular form which could efficiently contain the smaller individual packs.
INTERACTION
Keeping the packaging frustration-free, I wrapped the book-like structure shut by a snug sleeve. The pack is held shut by a concealed magnet.
GRAPHICS
For the digitally printed jacket, I designed a seamless pattern of all the products sold by Nourish Organics. I intended it as an extension of the individual packs, with the illustrations and product names the brand had.

PACK 2
FORM
I derived the tapered form for this pack from the form of the contents, i.e. 3 food-grade paper bags. The primary packaging of these products is relatively unique in the Indian market, so I decided to showcase it through a front window. The tapered sides of the pack, invert and stack to form a perfect cuboid.
INTERACTION
This pack is secured by a larger concealed magnet on the bottom and hence didn’t need a bounding sleeve.
GRAPHICS
As the assortment for this pack was fixed, I continued the same colour across the pack to appear as a sleeve and unify the two festive packs. I added an Indian radial pattern to subtly introduce the festive gifting aspect.

REVISED PACKAGING
The packaging was revised in 2018, to update the recipes and legal information. Major changes were to replace text heavy areas with illustrations and to have more breathing space. We also added Serving Suggestions in an illustrated format.

Designed for an annual sale event at a Gourmet Market in Mumbai, India.

These designs were printed and sold in about 500 premium stores across India in 2017 and 2018.
